Andra Day and Andi Matichak

Cassandra Monique Batie known professionally as Andra Day is an American R&B and soul performer, actor and songwriter. Her accolades include a Grammy Award as well as an Children's and Family Emmy Award and Golden Globe Award. She was also nominated to win an Academy Award. Andra Day is an imposing artist and a talented songwriter. She isn't just a throwback R&B expert. Her roots are in gospel music and blues displayed with ease and grace are carried into the modern day. When she released her debut album, Cheers to the September (2015) she made it in to the Top Ten R&B/hip hop charts as well as securing a couple Grammy acknowledgements. In 2017, her contribution to Marshall's music was recognized by an Academy Award. Amen (2018) as well as Then Make Your Troubles go Away (2020) and Her Golden Globe winning portrayal of Billie Holiday (The United States vs. Billie Holiday 2021) All of these have contributed to the anticipation for her next album. The actress was born Cassandra Monique Batie in Edmonds Washington Andra Day grew up in San Diego and its metropolitan region where she sang in worship and attended the School of Creative and Performing Arts. In the years following her graduation, she started to explore R&B/pop, but was eventually enticed back by the jazz and soul vocalists from the old. Kai Millard Morris, who saw a live show by Day and then took her music to Stevie Wonder's husband was the main success. Records, she started working alongside producer Adrian Gurvitz to create their debut record "Cheers to fall" (2015). It included Rise Up, that has since become an internationally renowned song of the social justice movement. Day was awarded two Grammy nominations, one of which was for Best R&B Album. In 2019, she debuted her sophomore album The United States vs. Billie Holiday a concept album on the life of the legendary jazz vocalist. In the same year, she appeared in a biopic of Holiday's career, The United States vs. Billie Holiday (2021). Andi Matichak, who is an American actor. She debuted in the movie Halloween as Allyson and was later seen in various television shows, including Orange Is the New Black (Orange is the new black) Park Avenue (666) Park Avenue (666 Park Avenue) and Blue Bloods as well as Orange is the new black. Andi Matichak, an American actress was born in Framingham, Massachusetts on 3 May 1994.
