Felicity Jones is a British actress who is most well-known in the role of Jane Hawking in the critically acclaimed movie The Theory of Everything. Jones started acting at age of 12 and appeared in various TV series, plays, and films. She began her career acting on television in the role of The Treasure Seekers. Then in The Worst Witch she played Ethel Hallow. Then came Weirdsistersisters Sisters, a sequel of The Worst Witch. The character she played was Young Ruth as her debut film Flashbacks of a Fool. Then, she appeared in several movies. Her acting career gained her fame in films such as The Invisible Woman, and The Amazing Spider-Man. Her performance in The Theory of Everything was what earned her her first Oscar nomination. The biopic was based on the life of physicist Stephen Hawking, and Jones received a lot of praise from the public and reviewers for her flawless portrayal of Hawking's former wife. Inferno which starred Tom Hanks was next on her list of credits. Inferno was a thriller starring Tom Hanks. British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles presented Jones the British Artist of the Year in the year 2016 because of her outstanding talent and contribution to cinema.
