Annie Mist Thorisdottir, an experienced professional CrossFit athlete hailing from Reykjavik Iceland. She also coaches and trainer for Crossfit Reykjavik. Annie became the very first woman ever to be crowned winner of CrossFit Games on two occasions. Her second place was both in the year 2010 and 2014. Annie Thorisdottir was an Icelanders weightlifter CrossFit champion, and a popular media figure. Her fame was boosted by her being the first woman who taken home the two CrossFit Games, in 2011 and 2012 In addition, she is known for winning both the Dubai Fitness Competition in 2013 and 2017. Annie was raised in Iceland, Reykjavik together with her parents and siblings. She was a keen sportsperson and worked out from the age of five. Her first participation was time in 2009, in the CrossFit Games held in California in which she performed very well. Annie Thorisdottir as of 2021, is age 31. Her height is 5'7" and she weighs around 67kg. Annie began CrossFit Training in California in 2009. At the beginning of her competition, she performed very well and placed in Top 10 out of 70. However she was unable to achieve any championships and finished the competition in 11th place. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. That same year, with Jami's direction, she was awarded the silver medal in the CrossFit Games. After a year of CrossFit Games, Annie won her first CrossFit Games. Her dominant performance was enough to earn her the title. Annie was again victorious at in the CrossFit Games in 2012 due to her exceptional performance. She became the first female athlete to be crowned the winner of twice in CrossFit Games at once. In 2014, she also won a gold medal. And in 2021, she won a bronze. Presently Annie works as a trainer and coach at Crossfit Reykjavik which was started by her. Annie is an aspiring athlete who has appeared as the spokesperson for many brands such as Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs as well as Renaissance Periodization, Nuun Hydration and Sidekick Yerbae.
